Polystyrene (EPS) boxes
A thermobox, or a sealed container made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), is an essential solution when maintaining temperature during transport or storage of various goods or medications is required.
This type of container can be used on its own (we recommend at least wrapping it with stretch film), or it can be additionally protected with fabric (as in a cooler bag), combined with a cardboard box, or placed inside a plastic or wooden crate. You can even paint it. In any case, it is suitable for multiple use. For extra protection, a polyurethane coating provides excellent durability.
Since we use the cutting method, our boxes are assembled from several components (walls + bottom + lid + high-quality adhesive). To ensure airtightness, the joints include interlocking elements that eliminate thermal bridges.
If needed, we can add internal dividers or custom-shaped inserts to further stabilize and insulate your products.
Disposable boxes are typically made from EPS 100 (≈ 20 kg/m³), while reusable boxes are made from EPS 200 (≈ 30 kg/m³).
The dimensions can be fully customized. Wall thickness is adjustable in 10 mm increments: 30, 40, 50... 70... 100 mm. When choosing the wall thickness, both the box size and load weight must be considered. The most common option is 50 mm. Due to material properties, we recommend a minimum wall thickness of 40 mm.
Since the final cost depends on several factors, prices are calculated individually per order.
