Granulate made from recycled EPS cut-offs
An often overlooked but valuable feature of EPS (expanded polystyrene) is its potential for zero-waste circulation in nature, with the possibility of turning it back into raw material (here, we're talking about technological feasibility - the environmental pollution issue is more about logistics and regulatory policies in each specific country).
In our case, all cut-offs generated during production are turned into a useful product - polystyrene granulate (also known as regrind or crushed EPS).
It has a dry texture, no odor, does not rot, and does not absorb moisture. Its service life is unlimited. It does not shrink or lose its properties over time.
Where can it be used:
• Loose-fill thermal and sound insulation to fill voids (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.).
• Thermal insulation for underground structures (buried pipes, cellars, outdoor toilets, etc.).
• An additive in concrete to create a thermal insulation layer. Especially relevant in areas with floor-level utilities. Simple mixing technology. Easier to work with than EPS boards.
• As a soil loosening agent.
Granule size - up to 8 mm. Packaging - 250 L bags. Price - EUR 4.00 per bag + VAT.
